Mad River Valley Recreation District, Serving the towns of Fayston, Waitsfield and Warren Vermont

The Mad River Valley Recreation District (MRVRD) represents the member towns of Fayston, Waitsfield and Warren. The mission of the MRVRD is to provide financing and other support to maintain and upgrade existing recreational facilities, create new facilities, and to aid in the development of programs to improve the recreational opportunities within the three member towns.

Since its inception in 1993, the MRVRD has supported the Mad River Path, Brooks Field, the Skatium, Couples Field, Kingsbury Field and many other recreational endeavors.

The distribution of funding is an open, public process administered by the Mad River Valley Recreation District Committee. The Committee meets monthly and consists of three representatives from each of the member towns.  Anyone wishing to apply for funding must follow the standard grant request guidelines available HERE.

The MRVRD will continue to work hard to address the recreational needs of the community in an equitable manner within its available resources and guiding principles.
